2012-08-06 Logistics Industry in China

The Ministry of Commerce will implement a modern logistics technology project this year to reduce distribution costs and expand domestic consumption.Nine cities in China have been selected as pilot cities and will receive funding of over 2 million US dollars.The ministry will build urban distribution networks supported by major logistics parks, public distribution centers and terminal nodes for common deliveries. It will also encourage the modernization of distribution models.
