The American Society of Transportation & Logistics (AST&L) announced a partnership with APICS The Association for Operations Management on Feb. 1st. The agreement grants Certified Supply Chain Professionals (CSCP) and professionals or fellows who are Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM/CFPIM) waivers for two of the six modules needed to obtain the AST&L's Certification in Transportation and Logistics (CTL). CSCP certified professionals seeking their CTL are now able to waive the Supply Chain Management (elective) module needed to obtain CTL certification. CPIM and CFPIM certified professionals are able to waive the Logistics Management (required) module. |
