The American Society of Transportation and Logistics (ASTL) was founded in 1946 as a professional organization to promote and maintains the high standards of education that is needed in the transportation /logistics/supply chain management industry. ASTL is a non-profit organization headed office in Washington, DC with international affiliates in P.R. China, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, and India.
ASTL established an office in Beijing in January 2007. It has since organized successful Sino-American Logistics Conferences, developed a local membership program, organized subject expert delegation exchanges, and provides training in advanced logistics management.
The mission of the American Society of Transportation and Logistics, Shanghai Representative Office is to fostering co operation initiatives between American and Chinese transportation logistics industry in Shanghai. Helping American enterprises do business in Shanghai; supporting the development of Shanghai’s logistics industry.
This occasion will also mark the launch of the US-China Logistics Cooperation Office.
