





IATA/CAAC TRAINING ON TRANSPORTING DANGEROUS GOODS BY AIR
To improve the safety of transporting dangerous goods by air, and to help shippers, freight forwarders and carriers to enhance their technical capabilities, the Bureau of Dangerous Goods Ltd., USA and its Chinese operation the Bureau of Dangerous Goods Ltd., China announces a 4-day IATA/CAAC training class to be held Mar 15 to 18, 2010 in Shanghai, China.
1) Description of the Course
The newly published IATA/DGR 2010 (51 Edition) has significant new changes on air transporting Lithium Battery and introduced new format of Packing Instructions. For those shippers involved in related products shipping, this course would be very helpful.
This course is specifically designed to help those that need to be familiar with the operation and transportation of dangerous goods by air; including regulations, documentation and packaging to meet the requirements of the increasingly restricted regulatory requirements from Europe and North America. The IATA/DGR regulations used in the classroom instruction will be the English text version and the course will be narrated in both Chinese and English languages.

Upon completing the course, students passing the examination will receive a Diploma of Certification on “Dangerous Goods Transport” by CAAC and IATA certificate, which meet the international requirements of training for general awareness/familiarization limited function specific, safety and security awareness training for transporting dangerous goods.
