The training for Sinotrans was successfully held

In-house Logistics Training offered by AST&L to Sinotrans was successfully held in Beijing on Dec, 12 2008.

AST&L provided customized designed training courses according to the needs of Sinotrans. The training covers the following topics: US economic crisis and its effect on global logistics, the role that 3PL played in American logistics industry, distribution systems, supply chain management, modern logistics technology, logistics project management, logistics center design etc. The trainees had better understanding on course content through the discussions and case analysis.

During the three daysĄŻ training, the Chairman of AST&L, Mr. Mark Holmes and Executive Director of VICS Asia Pacific, Ms. Rebecca Lo answered all the questions from the trainees. They discussed with the participants on the current industrial crisis and how to prepare for the crisis. Mr. Holmes and Ms. Lo shared their insights about the trend of international logistics industry and how to optimize the supply chain for the industry. They also talked about how to increase the efficiency of information communication and improve the flexibility of inventory control.

At the end of training, SinotransĄŻ participants exchanged their ideas with AST&L on the training cooperation in the future.
